The TrueSafe^® is designed to reduce hit-and-miss insertion attempts by immediately confirming the vessel entry, enabling clinician to stay focused on the insertion site. Features a notched needle for catheter blood-flash observation, incorporated into gauge sizes 20–24. After threading and with the press of a button, the needle instantly retracts into the barrel chamber, helping to reduce accidental needle sticks and making sharps disposal easier. The TrueSafe Comfort^® offers the same advantages as the TrueSafe^®, but with the added benefit of PUR material, which is softer and more comfortable for the patient and offers a longer in-dwelling performance.
