The Syringe Adaptor Lock (SAL) connects with a simple click to any of the other OnGuard 2 components to confirm a secure connection that allows safe transfer of liquid from one container to another. The OnGuard 2 septum can be pierced up to 10 times, preventing drug leakage and contamination. The Syringe Adaptor Lock fits most standard Luer-lock connections, either to a syringe or the end of an IV administration set. The SAL also has a patented locking mechanism to prevent accidental disconnection.
