One System, Multiple Benefits – Zest Dental's Removable Attachment System

Pivoting Technology

The LOCATOR® Male pivots in its permanent Denture Cap for a genuine resilient connection of the prosthesis without any resulting loss of retention. The male remains in static contact with the female socket while the Denture Cap has a full range of rotational movement over the male. This innovative feature is a hallmark of Zest Dental's Removable Attachment System.

Self-Aligning Design

The self-aligning feature of the LOCATOR® Attachment allows a patient to easily seat their overdenture without the need for accurate alignment, and without causing damage to the attachment components. This self-aligning feature also increases the longevity of the LOCATOR®. Patients can really bite their dentures into place without harming the attachments, showcasing the reliability of LOCATOR® dental attachments.

Lowest Vertical Height

The LOCATOR® Attachment is designed to reduce the height of attachment and abutment on all brands of endosseous implants. With a total attachment height of only 3.17mm (male plus 1mm collar abutment) for an externally hexed implant, the LOCATOR® Attachment saves a minimum of 1.68mm to 3.05mm of interocclusal space compared to other implant overdenture attachments, making it a standout product in Zest Dental's Removable Attachment System.

LOCATOR® Fixed Attachment System

The LOCATOR® Fixed Attachment System enables dental labs to seamlessly transition patients from removable overdentures to fixed, full-arch prosthetics using existing or newly placed LOCATOR® abutments, ensuring a comfortable and reliable solution that mimics the feel of permanent teeth.

The LOCATOR® Fixed Attachment System offers several key benefits:

  • No new abutment required: Use LOCATOR® abutments for fixed full-arch solutions.
  • Transition flexibility: Utilize patients' existing LOCATOR® or newly placed abutments to transition from a removable overdenture to a fixed, full-arch solution.
  • Staged treatment planning: Offer staged treatment planning for patients, providing a flexible approach to dental care.
  • Comfort and reliability: A LOCATOR® -proven alternative to the discomfort and pain associated with conventional dentures, offering a solution that feels more like permanent teeth.

Versatility in Retention and Angulation

Standard Males

The unique Dual Retention innovation provides the LOCATOR® Attachment with a greater retention surface area than ever before available with other dental attachments. This feature ensures secure and reliable prosthetic retention, making it a preferred choice for dental professionals.

Extended Range Males

The Extended Range Males allow you to restore a non-parallel implant with up to 20 degrees of angulation, accommodating an extensive 40 degrees of divergence between two implants. This flexibility is crucial for achieving optimal implant placement and prosthetic fit, enhancing patient comfort and satisfaction.

LOCATOR® Scan Bodies

Plan your LOCATOR® cases in the digital workflow with LOCATOR® Scan Bodies. You can design and 3D print or mill prosthetics with LOCATOR® housing recesses included, ensuring proper space required for pick-ups. LOCATOR® Scan Bodies capture the precise location of attachments and are made of durable PEEK material that can be sterilized and reused. These scan bodies can be used for LOCATOR® Root, LOCATOR® Implants, and removable or fixed LOCATOR® Abutments, streamlining the process for dental labs and enhancing the accuracy of prosthetic design.
